Student Beans have conducted a survey of more than 3, UK-based university students to determine their attitudes towards dating and sex, and what makes them swipe right when it comes to relationships. Top worries in relation to dating were eye opening; men said they were most concerned about finding their ideal match and remaining faithful to their partner, whereas women worry most about being cheated on.
Students were then asked what their biggest worries in relation to sex were, with the following found to be the most common causes for concern:.
Female respondents are the most concerned about getting pregnant and looking attractive to their partner, whereas male students are far more worried about their sexual performance and being caught in the act. Asked to state where they turn to if or when they have questions about sex, the following were the most popular sources:.
It's important for us to understand not just the behavioural trends around this hot topic, but also the attitudes motivating a generation of students growing up in the social media age.
