How we can help
I began working in mental health at a psychiatric hospital as a Mental Health Tech, where I worked for two years while earning my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. This exposed me to a variety of individuals with active mental issues. I consider those times as unique and important to my education helping others. When we find ourselves in an atmosphere of radical positive regard and acceptance, it is not simply a transformation that occurs, but a homecoming.
We reclaim our fears, our worries, and our pain, and we truly discover ourselves for the first time, or the first time in a long time. I believe that healing in this way is our human birthright and destiny, but it must be claimed. The greatest reward in my work is to facilitate and bear witness to this process, and to be with you each step of the way.
Relationships are part of what makes us human. We thrive when connected with others. I am passionate about helping people create and maintain healthy and loving relationships. I work with couples, families, and individuals and have strong experience working with LGBTQ clients.
I make it a priority to create a safe space for all of my clients. It is through this atmosphere of acceptance that we can work together to create true change and growth.
I work with individuals, families and couples who are going through a crisis, or those who are simply looking to strengthen their relationships. If you find insecurities or negative self-talk impacting your relationships, success, or mental health and wish you could break free of that cycle, I would be honored to help you overcome these hurdles and reclaim your power. I also recognize the ificant role that relationships play in our lives, so I collaborate with my clients to find individualized tools to enhance their friendships and partnerships.
Whether this includes conflict resolution strategies, healthy communication skills, boundary-setting practices, or sexual empowerment techniques, I want to help find what works for you. I utilize emotionally-focused, attachment-based, and playful interventions for unsticking the stuck parts of life.
My ideal client is ready and willing to explore their inner self.
They are wanting to connect with their self or spirit, or wanting to reach a level of satisfaction in their lives.
