I have been away in Scotland first to University and am now working here for a while until I can find a job in Treliske. Every time I cross the Tamar my heart fills with joy and I know that I am once again home. There is nothing better in this world than walking along the coastal path up to Dodman point and standing by the cross as the wind blows all the cobwebs away. Rod Denmark Cornwall, the greatest place on the planet.

Rosemary from Surrey Love West Cornwall. Went as and again and again over the years. Best times at Gurland Farm nr. Just in the late 's. Wonder what happened to the Williams Family? Seen the old farm in the distance but not been back there.

Cannot beat the sun and the sea and the countryside. Can anyone tell me the answer to the above? Been back to see and its all still there. Love the web site can look at it every day. Wish I was there now! Love to know if any of Williams family still living at farm. I left Cornwall at 17 years of age and 5 years later emigrated to New Zealand. It is so wonderful to view cornwall - Some photos of Hayle would be appreciated. It is the most wonderful little cove and we, like you, found it first whilst staying at Treverven campsite.

In early spring the woods above it are filled with snowdrops, later it is daffodils and in the late summer the top pf the cove is covered with wild hops reminding me of the hop gardens of my Hampshire village childhood. There is a cottage just up form the cove that offers the most wonderful teas during the summer months - well worth a visit. St Loy is a real gem.

Simon Reed, Lymington,Hants This tea room serves the best cream teas ever!!!!!!! Just when I was. Been back to Cornwall often over the years. Even went back to the farm a couple of times but never saw anyone to speak to.

Wonder who owns it now? Use to be Mr Williams and his family.

I particularly enjoy walking the coastal path from Polperro to Fowey, where land meets the sea with such dramatic where doesn't it in this region? I remember when my wife and I did the walk and the fog descended upon us rapidly.

We moved off the coastal path and looked for a road. We'd been walking for about 5 minutes and a German couple in a camper van offered us a lift to Fowey.

Anyway, we had lunch together in Fowey and it turned out they'd been coming to the South West every year for 25 years. With such beauty and plenty of activities, its a place you never tire of.

Spectacular views and walks. Seeing your photos reminds me of my week around those beautiful places. Laura Cook Bath I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Falmouth, where I saw many big and beautiful Sher clunk clunk's cats for those who don't know the meaning. Cornwall is home to some of the finest Sher clunk clunks I have ever seen, and I have travelled the world. I look forward to being in cornwall again and hope to visit more of these unique and beautiful creatures.

Hoping I can visit the wonderful place where my husband lives. I've just realized, after reading the comments,Cornwall is like paradise.

I'm looking forward to my first visit and I'm so excited to be with my husband again and to see what Cornwall looks like. I think I have to bring along my pen and paper to write poems. It's a lovely place to commune with nature. Maria Davies Bournemouth I am visiting Portreath on 11 June with my sister and am looking forward to it so much because we lived there when I was 13 and i remember crying and being so heartbroken when my father moved us away to Bournemouth.

Highlights

I left my wonderful friends Heather and Brenda. I havent been back to Portreath since all those years ago and i cant wait. Will take some time out and get to tour cornwall over some weeks and realy get to see as much as possible. Thankyou Cornwall Throughtout the winter I look at these photos for inspiration and surround myself with all the happy memories that only Cornwall could give me. I have been unwell over the past three years and closing my eyes and imagining lying on a warm, sunny Cornish beach was the best pill in the world!!

Really beautiful place - lovely small beach with soft sand. Highly recommend it. David Seymour I took my wife away as a surprise, and what a lovely surprise it was. Would certainly come again. Maddie Marie from Long Island, NY I have never been to Cornwall but have a wonderful friend there who has told me what a beautiful place it it. I feel as I know it through his eyes.
